Code Tenderloin invites the new Tech companies to work with the community by teaching the neighborhood residents about computers and technology, so they can participate in and benefit from the exciting changes occurring in their backyard.
We welcome volunteers with experience in training, assisting and mentoring young seekers to reach their full potential.
This could include resume writing, mock interviews and fine-tuning personal conduct.
We are looking for funding to create a space where experienced programers and coders can work with the youth of the neighborhood and expose the world of "Tech" to a new community.
This is a grassroots project that is a labor of love for all involved. The love of our home, our neighbors, our city. With the support of both the corporations in the Tenderloin as well as the non-profit service organizations, there is a great deal of momentum building around Code Tenderloin.
